Fare play on the prices. I have heard of one club putting prices up by 40%. The club I'm sort of involved in ( I funded them some money in early lockdown) have managed to keep the prices the same. I think this is the 7th year if I'm correct. I am now looking to make a donation to a further one or maybe two clubs to assist them in the current climate. Due to my original donation being a sizeable amount. Is there any rules to stop me making a further donation to a different club. I have asked this question on another website and got told that if it was traces back to myself then clubs could be investigated for some reason. Not sure why they would be. Or is there a ruling that stops people doing this. Hope this makes sense.
I don't think you can own more than one club that is competing in the same competition and there are rules surrounding having more than 30% of shares in clubs. As far as I am aware there is no restriction on you making donations to more than one club. Hope this helps.
My thinking entirely. Donations is one thing but buying shares etc or being on a board is another. I'd love to be on a board of a club but I think the boss (Mrs Welsh) would put her foot down and try to stop me wasting anymore money. That is why I am going to donate some more money to another club. I just wanted to clarify the ruling after i got told there could be some rule in place to stop me or a club accepting it.
